17.Jun.2010 Hello there!

I think I’m scrapping this composition but I liked the lines.

In other news, I’m still in the real world, still have much to learn, and still engaged. Not much has changed since the last post, yet everything is changing.

In the meantime, keep drawing, keep painting, and check out my new joint blog with my favorite art buddies at http://www.sketchyadventures.blogspot.com! It’s just for funsies, imaginative, and completely ridiculous. :D

01.Jun.2010 Victory!

Yess real world here I come! Na na na na .. na.. na.. womp womp.

Looking back, it’s been a pretty productive 4 years: I added on almost every elective I was interested in, went abroad to Italy, did 3 internships, somehow got summa cum laude, and if you think that’s stressful, I still left looking like a 16 year old haha. The conclusion is there is a God who covers me because how else does a former Biology major who barely drew, get to this point? Haha. Anyway, I’m quite excited for what’s ahead. 2010 is a year of many new things, and the year is only at the half way mark!

09.May.2010 The Backyardigans

Pablo and Austin from The Backyardigans.

Need to refocus on school this week. But I’ve always had my mind on the real world; the school system only goes so far. *Drags my body across the week.

08.May.2010 I’m allowed to show this

Some line art I did from maquettes for Nick. These are characters from the Wonder Pets. You might have to click that 4th icon in the pop-up to expand to actual size, in order to see the detail. Hopefully I can do more similar fun stuff in the future, if you know what I mean.

:D

06.May.2010 Nickelodeon rocks my socks

I did this for my supervisor with the many pens an awesome person there gifted me with. Nickelodeon is awesome; there’s so many creative things going on and it gives me hope that I won’t have to take a boring photo retouching/layouting day jawb after I graduate. It made me realize how broad illustration is, and there’s a lot of different things we can apply those skills to.
